...the shins extending from the previous painting. Again abstract with texture in the water. showing the movement and refractions.

the texture in water. with a small portion of a body makes a perfect abstraction.

Ideas!

New Ideas for the next few months!!:

1. Collage swimmer:
- large cardboard
- from a picture
-use cutout paper to follow colors of picture
- show movement through the colors and cutouts

2. relay start:
during a relay start, the swimmer on the block makes a "window" with their hands to follow the swimmer in the water.
an awesome view for a painting would be through the "window" of the water

3. relay start portrait:
portrait of a swimmer through the window of their hands.
- bright lighting and shadows
- good reflection in goggles, and swim cap

4. idea from 'heart of life picture" (to right, replace tree with myself)
- colorful roots, from my feet
- wearing tie-dye smock
- smock is only halfway tie-dye, to show the roots are feeding the colors of the smock
